Sew(ing) obsessed

My mom and I worked on different projects together. Truthfully, I would come up with some crazy project and my mom would always lovingly indulge my ideas. I did a bit of the sewing, like straight lines and stuff, but my mom did most of the work.

I’m not really sure what pushed me to start sewing now. Maybe it’s all those cute fabrics and little girl clothes – I think I am hooked.

I’ve been using a 60 year old Singer Featherweight sewing machine that belonged to Matthew’s grandma, Ruth Ellen; threads, scissors, pins and a seam ripper (of course) that belonged to my mom.
